The Kanawha Valley Astronomical Society is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the promotion of amateur astronomy in and around the Charleston, West Virginia area. A Regular Membership is open to all individuals 18 years of age or older.. Our meetings are held at the Boone Maxwell Lodge at Camp Virgil Tate, on the third Friday of each month at 7:00 PM. Directions to the Lodge are on the Home page. By joining, members agree to abide by club rules and bylaws.
