Total Lunar Eclipse on February 20th
A few members braved the snow and cold temperatures to catch the February 20th lunar eclipse at Breezy Point. We were joined by a few other interested observers as well as television news crews from channel 8 (WCHS) and channel 13 (WOWK). You can watch the channel 13 news clip here.

Breezy Point Electrical Upgrade is complete.
The electric power at Breezy Point was reconnected on June 27. Power was turned off on June 7 while we replaced the meter and circuit breaker box on the pole at the edge of the pad. The work has now been completed and all of the lights and circuits in the observatory building are working. Thanks for your patience.
Star Party at Breezy Point
Several members held an impromptu star party at Breezy Point on Saturday night, April 22. Observing was good despite the bright quarter moon. Some pictures of the event are here.
