Scott Blake Exhibit at Nitro Library

  Nitro library exhibit delay/November cancellation

I spoke with Karen Boggess from the Nitro Public library. She has asked me to delay exhibiting my collection of Space memorabilia until May thru July of 2012. My exhibit will now run for 3 months! The Kanawha County Public Library has decided to use "Space" as a summer reading theme. She felt that my display would help augment their program. Karen is also interested in working with KVAS on a possible program for the library.

Club member Scott Blake has been collecting space memorabilia most of his life. To celebrate 50 years of manned space flight, the Nitro library is allowing him to show off part of his collection. This exhibit will include Astronaut and (one) cosmonaut autographs, flown items, and many rare books and periodicals.
