o $2,800 checking net proceeds from BWF
o $1,500CD

KVAS took in $800 from Blackwater Falls Astro weekend, our expenses were $400, so we made $400.
The board found a building that we thought would be suitable for a warming shed at Lowe’s for $850 plus the cost of the floor. After evaluating our finances, we decided to fix up the old building for now and concentrate on saving for a future telescope.
Lee Hanz discussed the “Whitewater Grille” at the Charleston Marriot as the location for the January annual meeting and dinner. She passed out menus for us to consider. Rodney and Brent presented LaSha’s of Hurricane for our consideration. After some debate among members it was decided to table the issue until later. Rodney will email the members for a vote on the issue.
The next KVAS meeting is December 21
Meeting was adjourned by Rodney Waugh.
We went outside to observe Comet Holmes through binoculars in the parking lot.
